The state – of – the – art BOPP production
line includes the latest equipment from Bruckner, Slitters
from Kampf and two metallizers. Web throughput width
of the production line is 6200 mm. The annual capacity
of the Production Line is 15,000 tons with metallizing
throughput of 7,500 tons. This in-house equipment, (metallizing
capability, slitting ability) enables high versatility
in lead-times of orders placed by customers.
An advanced PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEM, based on the latest
computer technology systems, continuously monitors the
BOPP production process conditions. First-rate professional
personnel, who are responsible for total quality standards,
staff a fully equipped quality control laboratory. Samples
extracted from each lot test: thickness, gloss, surface
tension, in order to approve the physical properties
of each batch. The metallizers are equipped with On-line
optical density inspection tools, which ensure maximum
utilization of the Metallized film. The improved optical
and mechanical properties of the film reduce wastage
and allow customers a higher capacity of production.
The BOPP production process is supported by the latest
ERP system that enables maximum efficiency and coordination
of each step of production with utmost interdepartmental
transparency. This commences upon receipt of raw material,
then the placing of order by customer that creates the
‘total monitoring ability process’ that
involves creating customized catalogue numbers per line
of order, and enables planning and scheduling production
of each aspect of this placed order. The different steps
of planning and producing every roll of film and monitoring
them per order and customer, enable maximum efficiency
of each production step.
